Brian Foley is President of Brian Foley Associates, a consultancy that helps investors analyze opportunities in the business aviation sector. Previously, Mr. Foley spent 20 years as Director at Dassault Falcon Jet. Recent engagements have included assisting an investor with market due diligence in the bid for Raytheon Aircraft Corporation, and helping a worldwide financial institution understand the corporate aircraft lending field. He also identifies companies in the business aviation industry that are for sale or seeking outside investment, and matches them to interested Wall Street and private investment firms.

On the Transportation Research Board (TRB), his opinions on business jet production rates including the Very Light Jet (VLJ) market are used by the FAA for traffic forecasts. His career began at the Boeing Company in both engineering and marketing capacities for the commercial aircraft division. Mr. Foley holds a dual degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Syracuse University, as well as an MBA in Marketing from Seattle University. He is an instrument rated pilot.

 

Joseph Wiendl, CFA, is an investment banker for Raymond James at the firm’s international headquarters in the Tampa Bay area. In addition to being active in mergers, acquisitions, and private placements of capital, Mr. Wiendl leads the firm's efforts in the aviation services and aerospace industries. His client list includes DayJet Corporation.

In 2005, Mr. Wiendl was appointed by Florida Governor Jeb Bush to his Commission on the Future of Space and Aeronautics in Florida. In 2006 he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Florida's new aerospace economic development agency, Space Florida, for which he was elected Vice-Chairman (to the Governor), making Mr. Wiendl one of the state's ranking officers in aviation & aerospace.

Mr. Wiendl graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (Astronautics). He holds both a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science (Accounting) from the University of Tampa. Mr. Wiendl holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
