The French defense procurement agency DGA has cleared the laser-guided AASM modular air-to-ground weapon for use with the country’s air force and navy. The April 3 move follows the final test drops of the weapon, known as the SBU-54 Hammer, from a Dassault Rafale at the DGA’s test range in Biscarrosse in December.
