International Aero Engines (IAE) is gearing up to build the first set of V2500-E5 turbofans for Embraer’s KC-390 multirole tanker transport as part of eventual plans to deliver around 20 engines per year. The multinational engine maker will begin assembly in the first half of 2013 and deliver the first units in the fourth quarter.
