Boeing is to break ground Monday, March 5, on a new delivery center for its 747, 767, 777 and 787 widebody aircraft programs. The center, to be located in Everett, Wash., will be three times larger than the current facility. Since that facility opened in the late 1960s, when Everett was building only the 747, approximately 3,500 aircraft have moved through it. The new facility is to be open in the first quarter 2013.
