Canada’s WestJet has converted five Bombardier Q400 options to keep feeding its growing Encore subsidiary, boosting the regional carrier’s planned fleet size to 25 aircraft by 2016. The five firm orders will be delivered in the second half of 2015. WestJet has 20 remaining Q400 options taken as part of an August 2012 order.
