Following on from its recent facility expansion in Singapore, Pratt & Whitney has extended its footprint in southeast Asia with a new maintenance deal with Malaysia Airlines (MAS). The airline has signed an exclusive, 10-year Fleet Management Program (FMP) that will see P&W maintain MAS’s 43 PW4170 engines and spares the airline currently uses to power its fleet of Airbus A330-300s.
