Thomson Airways Commence 787 Long Haul Operations


UK charter operator Thomson Airways today commenced 787 long-haul operations from Manchester to Orlando-Sanford. After several weeks of training flights and the occasional short-haul revenue service, flight TOM156 (tail number G-TUIB, named "Alfie") departed Manchester at 10:00 local bound for Florida.
