RNLAF (K)DC-10 Cockpit Update Program Complete


The Royal Netherlands Air Force's (RNLAF) 334 Squadron in Eindhoven today received the last of three modernized (K)DC-10 transport tanker aircraft from Fokker Aircraft Services.

Under the Cockpit Update Program (CUP), the aircraft's communication, navigation and information systems were upgraded so that it meets international aviation standards.

The delivery of the (K)DC-10 contributes to filling the European gap in air-to-air refueling, said Lt.Gen. Alexander Schnitger, chief of the RNLAF.
