Photo: MAP Linhas Aereas awaits its first ATR72s

MAP Linhas Aereas of Brazil currently flies two ATR42-300s which at 26 and 28 years old are in the twilight of their careers. However, two much younger, and much larger ATR72s are awaiting delivery to MAP, and are currently at Toulouse-Francazal. Atlantic Air Industries has established an ATR overhaul and freighter conversion business in two of the hangars at the former French Air Force base.
