The USAF says operational utility evaluation of the F-35A at Eglin AFB, Fla. will be done in the next two weeks if the weather is good.

Four pilot students have begun the flying portion of their training.

The OUE was added to the program to allow Pentagon testers to ensure that it is ready to fly enough sorties on a regular basis to be used for formal training.
