NASA's #RealGravity Photos

One of the best things about following NASA on social media is the interesting photos they regularly share. However, the space agency outdid itself on Sunday, March 2 when they released a set of photos that they tagged #RealGravity to capitalize on interest in the Academy Awards and the movie, Gravity, which won seven of the 'Oscars.' Here are two that caught my eye (click to enlarge):

In this image, "Astronaut Bruce McCandless II, is seen further away from the confines and safety of his ship than any previous astronaut has ever been on Feb. 12, 1984."

In this picture, "the bright sun greets the International Space Station in this Nov. 22, 2009 scene from the Russian section of the orbital outpost."
