ILFC Lease Returns #AvMRO

I just participated in a panel at the Aviation Suppliers Association conference here in Las Vegas and here are two tidbits for you.

George Psycharis, senior director engine and airframe maintenance and Air Canada, revealed that one thing the airline is looking for is short-term RFPs to fill peaks in maintenance.

Rich Poutier, senior VP technical for ILFC, mentioned the the leasing company should transfer about 150 aircraft this year. Last year it was about 180.

Signing off from Vegas. Must catch a flight!
