First A320 in Aerostar


Aerostar, an MRO in Romania that received EASA Part 145 approval earlier this year, started working on its first Airbus A320. The V2500-powered aircraft, operated by Sky Wings Airlines in Greece, arrived in Bacau on Oct. 9 for a C check.


The aircraft’s maintenance, which also includes a landing gear replacement and service bulletin work, will be done in Aerostar’s new 5,000 sq. meter hangar that opened in May. This space doubled the MRO’s capacity.
