FAA Seeks Input On Draft Designee Policy Order

FAA has posted a draft of its new designee policy order (.doc), which (among other things) consolidates designee policy and procedures across the Aircraft Certification Service (AIR), Flight Standards Service (AFS) and the Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM).  The draft order also spells out the new web-based designee management system. Comments on the draft order are due Oct. 1.
