China Eastern Behind Mystery Airbus Order

RSS

China Eastern Airlines is believed to be behind a order for 12 A319s, 16 A320, and 32 A321s placed on December 31, 2012. Airbus listed this order as "undisclosed" in its December 2012 orders & deliveries report, but recent information from Aviation Week Intelligence Network's Fleet database suggests that China Eastern Airlines is the mystery buyer.

If correct, this would bring China Eastern's total Airbus narrowbody order to 229 with 127 already having been delivered.
