Change at the Top of BA Engineering

RSS

British Airways just announced that Andy Kerswill is the new director of engineering following Garry Copeland's promotion to managing director of operations. (Congratulations Garry!)

I met Andy a couple of years ago when he was general manager at BA Engineering, but recently he's been managing director at BA CityFlyer. (BA Engineering has a strong engineering apprenticeship program and Andy is a product of that, so he has worked his way up the whole ladder.)

It's going to be a big year for BA: it is scheduled to get its first Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787.
