Belgian NFH90 Makes Maiden Flight


The first Belgian NFH90 made its maiden flight at Eurocopter in Donauwörth on 5 April.

Belgium has ordered four NFH90s to replace its aging Sea Kings. The naval helicopters will operate off the Belgian navy's M-frigates or be used for search and rescue.

Belgium has also ordered eight NH90 tactical transport helicopters for its army. The first of these was delivered on 21 December 2012.
