B/E Aerospace in Oil?

Delta Airlines entered the oil refinery business last year to great fanfare, and now B/E Aerospace plans to acquire BlueDot Energy Services, an oil-field products distribution business with more than 10,000 tools and pieces of equipment.

This acquisition definitely would expand B/E's business into different revenue streams and new customers, but Jefferies analysts today came out and suggested that the company would be better off looking for “creative aerospace-related deals.”
