Airbus A350 Load Testing Completed

Airbus completed ultimate load testing of the A350 wing in December. Loads 1.5 times higher than would ever be expected in airline service have been applied to the wings of the static test airframe in Toulouse.

According to Airbus, the wingtip deflection exceeded 5 meters in the test. The last of the ultimate load tests of the A350 fuselage passed in early December.
