Qatar Airways’ Airbus A380s will be equipped with “around 517” seats, the airline’s CEO Akbar al-Baker told Aviation Week at the ITB tourism convention in Berlin. The aircraft, the first of which will be delivered in 2013, will have three classes and will be the only model that has a first class cabin. Qatar’s A380 first class will have eight seats, he said.
