Mubadala’s ambitions to build up its Strata aerostructures business into a Tier 1 supplier has received a boost under a new agreement with Boeing. Abu Dhabi-based Strata, which is ramping up its composite work, will provide 777 empennage ribs and 787 vertical fin ribs, Boeing says. Deliveries are planned to start in 2013.
