Lufthansa Technik is joining the “clean engine” service business with a Cyclean Engine Wash system. Airlines have water-washed their engines for years because it makes them use less fuel and burn cleaner. Lufthansa says regular Cyclean washing will cut kerosene and C02 emissions by 0.5-0.75%.
