Hong Kong Airlines is adding to its Airbus A330-200 order book by placing a firm order for a further six units. The airline is already on the books to take 17 aircraft of the type, adding to 30 A320s previously ordered. The airline expects to start A330-200 operations first on its existing routes, but on June 23 will inaugurate service to Moscow. The aircraft will be configured for two-class service.
