Vietnam-based LCC Vietjet is planning to set up a longhaul subsidiary to fly to Europe, the U.S. and Australia. The carrier’s Managing Director, Luu Duc Khanh, said the airline was actively planning to tap into the large Vietnamese diasporas established in those regions, and would likely be starting operations in three to five years time.
