Lufthansa has selected the CFM Leap-1A engine for the last part of its Airbus A320NEO order, a deal totalling more than €1 billion ($1.37 billion) covering engines for 40 aircraft.   The decision is a departure from its previous path, as Lufthansa has ordered Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines for the first 60 of its A320NEOs.
