The Program Dossier on the Eurofighter Typhoon that appeared in the March 21 edition inadvertently omitted a section on Austria. The Eurofighter won an Austrian competition for 24 fighters in 2002 but budget cuts reduced the number to be procured to 18 for delivery starting in 2007. That number later was further reduced to 15 Tranche 1 aircraft with only air-to-air capabilities and lacking Pirate and full DASS. Delivery of these aircraft was completed in 2009.”
