Boeing said June 12 it struck a deal with five Japanese suppliers for 21% of the 777X. The providers are Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Fuji Heavy Industries, ShinMaywa Industries and NIPPI Corp., aligned under the Japan Aircraft Industries consortium.
