Emirates Considers Three Options For Aircraft Order

FRANKFURT—Emirates Airline is considering a major deviation from its existing business model, as the carrier is considering ordering narrowbody aircraft. The company’s President Tim Clark told CNN that he has three different proposals in front of him: a narrowbody aircraft order; a mixed order for some number of narrowbody and twin-aisle aircraft; and a pure widebody aircraft order. No decision will be made within the next 18 months, Clark said.
