SpaceX Lobbies In Advance Of Constellation Deployment

To pave the way to begin launches of a 4,425-satellite constellation in 2019, SpaceX is pressing Congress to revise various policies in ways that would benefit its large low Earth orbit venture to provide broadband internet to currently underserved areas. For starters, Federal Communications Commission rules require non-geostationary orbit constellations to launch an entire constellation within six years.
