Northrop Grumman Wins $55.6m Air Force Contract For BACN Maintenance, Support

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Northrop Grumman Information Systems, San Diego, a $55,681,130 modification to exercise the option on a previously awarded contract for Battlefield Airborne Communication Node platform maintenance and support, the Pentagon announced Jan. 19. The work will be performed at overseas locations and is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2017. Fiscal 2016 overseas contingency operations funds in the amount of $55,681,130 are being obligated at the time of award.
