Pentagon Spent $16.5B On Military Intelligence Programs In Fiscal 2015

The U.S. Defense Department appropriated about $16.5 billion of its topline fiscal 2015 budget for military intelligence programs (MIP), the Pentagon reports. The total includes both the base budget and Overseas Contingency Operations funding. No other MIP budget figures or program details will be released, the Pentagon says, as they remain classified for national security reasons.
